Tofu is like chicken! You can do it about 365 ways! This is super easy and can be paired with anything. Pair it with Cauliflower Fried Rice! Here's what you need to know about Tofu.
1 - It's a blank slate. It will take on the flavor of whatever you marinate it in. So get creative and make any marinade you like.
2 - It's porous and packed in water. If you want it to have any kind of crunch you need to drain the water and wrap it in a clean towel and put something heavy on top of it and let it sit a while.
3 - It comes in Silken, Firm and Extra Firm. I prefer Extra firm if you want it to stay in the cubes or shape you cut it in. Silken is great for making sauces or dressings. Firm can go either way. I use Firm for my scrambles.
For this I marinated it in coconut aminos for 1-2 hours, sprinkled with sesame seeds and popped it in the air fryer for 15-20 min depending on your air fryer. You can also bake it at 400 for 20 min. I usually eat this with cauliflower rice or quinoa and a pile of green veggies! Great meal. I usually eat half a block as a serving. That's about 180-200 calories and 16-20 g protein!
